TERMS OF SERVICE
These Terms of Service apply when you access our website, place an order or purchase products or services from The Little Loaf Shed.
The Little Loaf Shed is a trading name of Life with Christine Ltd, company number NI739277, registered in Northern Ireland.
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return, Cancellation and Refund Policy.

OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
We offer products and services including postal brownies and other baked goods, celebration cakes, wedding cakes, cupcakes, corporate orders, cake toppers and edible images.
Our products are handmade. Minor variations in colour, size, decoration, finish and appearance are normal and do not mean that a product is faulty.
Photographs are provided as examples. Unless we expressly agree to reproduce a specific design, the finished product may vary slightly because of ingredient availability, handmade production and differences between screen and physical colours.
-
ORDERS
Placing an order or submitting an enquiry does not automatically mean that we have accepted it.
An order is confirmed when we accept it and, where required, receive the applicable payment, booking fee or deposit. Bespoke wedding, celebration and corporate orders may also require written approval of a quotation or design.
We may decline or cancel an order if:
• A product or date is unavailable
• Payment cannot be authorised
• Delivery is unavailable to the supplied address
• Information provided is incomplete or inaccurate
• We cannot safely or reasonably fulfil the order
• There has been an obvious pricing or website error
If we cancel an accepted order, we will refund any payment received for products or services we cannot provide.
-
PRICES AND PAYMENT
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Delivery is included only when expressly stated on the product page. Any other applicable delivery, setup or additional charges will be displayed at checkout or included in your quotation.
Full payment may be required when ordering. Bespoke celebration cakes, wedding cakes and corporate orders may use a separate payment schedule confirmed in the applicable quotation, invoice or booking agreement.
An order date is not secured until any required booking fee, deposit or payment has been received.
-
PRODUCT INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, prices and photographs are accurate. If we discover a material error after an order is placed, we will contact you to offer a correction, suitable alternative or refund.
Product availability, flavours and decorations may change. Any agreed substitution will take account of relevant dietary or allergen information provided to us.
-
FOOD ALLERGIES AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Ingredient and allergen information is provided on the relevant product page, label or during the ordering process.
Customers are responsible for reading the available ingredient and allergen information before ordering and for telling us about relevant allergies or dietary requirements when making a bespoke enquiry.
Our kitchen handles ingredients containing allergens, including cereals containing gluten, milk, eggs, soya, peanuts, nuts and sesame. Unless we explicitly confirm otherwise in writing, we cannot guarantee that a product is completely free from traces of an allergen.
A dietary preference is not necessarily the same as a medically required allergen-free product. Please contact us before ordering if you require further information.
-
POSTAL BROWNIE BOXES
Postal brownie boxes contain the selection described on the product page. Boxes are dispatched on Wednesdays unless otherwise stated.
Delivery estimates begin from dispatch and are not guaranteed arrival dates. Customers ordering for a particular event should allow additional time.
Each brownie is individually wrapped and labelled with applicable ingredient, allergen, storage and best-before information.
-
CELEBRATION AND WEDDING CAKES
The customer must provide accurate information about the event date, venue, portions, design, flavours, allergies and delivery or collection requirements.
Quotations are based on the information supplied at the time. Changes to size, design, decoration, flavours, venue, delivery or setup may affect the final price.
Design changes are subject to availability and must be accepted by us in writing. We may be unable to accept changes after ingredients or materials have been purchased or production has begun.
Fresh flowers, toppers or decorations supplied by a customer or another supplier remain that supplier’s responsibility. We may refuse to place an item on a cake if we reasonably believe it is unsafe or unsuitable for food contact.
Once a cake has been collected, responsibility for its safe transportation, handling and storage passes to the customer.
Where we deliver and set up a cake, responsibility passes to the customer or venue representative after setup has been completed. We are not responsible for subsequent damage caused by movement, handling, heat, direct sunlight, unsuitable display conditions or interference by another person.
-
CORPORATE ORDERS
Corporate pricing, quantities, branding, delivery arrangements and payment schedules will be confirmed in a written quotation.
Unless otherwise agreed, production begins only after the quotation has been accepted and the required payment has been received.
If a corporate customer provides logos, artwork, names or other material, the customer confirms that they have permission to use it.
-
CAKE TOPPERS AND EDIBLE IMAGES
Customers must check all supplied names, ages, dates, spellings, wording, colours and images carefully.
We are not responsible for mistakes contained in information or designs supplied or approved by the customer.
Images should be clear and of sufficient quality for printing or cutting. The finished colour may vary slightly from its appearance on a screen.
The customer confirms that they have the right or permission to use any image, logo, character, photograph or artwork supplied to us. We may refuse material we reasonably believe is unlawful, offensive or infringes another person’s rights.
-
COLLECTION
Collection is available only when agreed in advance. Our registered office address should not be treated as a public shop or an invitation to visit without an agreed collection appointment.
Customers must collect at the agreed date and time and follow all transportation and storage instructions supplied.
-
DELIVERY
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, postcode and relevant access information.
Delivery dates and times are estimates unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for further information.
-
CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Perishable food and personalised or made-to-order products cannot normally be returned or cancelled because of a change of mind.
Cancellation rights and any applicable deductions depend on the type of product and whether purchasing, preparation, design, personalisation or production has begun.
Full details are contained in our Return, Cancellation and Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
-
CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate email address and telephone number where requested and for responding within a reasonable time when approval or additional information is needed.
A delay in supplying information or approving a design may affect our ability to complete an order by the requested date.
-

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our website may use or link to services provided by third parties, including Shopify, payment providers and delivery companies.
We are not responsible for the content or availability of an independent third-party website. Your use of a third-party service may also be subject to that provider’s terms.
-
LIABILITY
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
For business customers, we are not responsible for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity or loss of anticipated savings, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these terms limits a consumer’s statutory rights.
-
EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, transport disruption, power failure, illness, supply interruption or venue-access problems.
If such circumstances materially affect an order, we will contact the customer as soon as reasonably possible and discuss the available options.
-
PRIVACY
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
-
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms when our products, services or legal obligations change. The terms applying to an order will normally be those in force when the order was accepted, together with any specific written terms agreed for that order.
-
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections available under the law applicable to you.
