SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY
The Little Loaf Shed is a trading name of Life with Christine Ltd, company number NI739277.
This policy covers postal brownies and other baked goods, cake toppers, edible images, celebration cakes, wedding cakes and corporate orders.
POSTAL BROWNIE BOXES
Our postal brownie boxes are dispatched every Wednesday unless otherwise stated on the product page or in your order confirmation.
Free UK delivery is included in the advertised price of the Postal Brownie Box. This free-delivery offer applies only to products specifically marked as including delivery.
Orders placed after the available weekly allocation has sold out will not be accepted for that dispatch date.
DELIVERY TIMES
The delivery time shown at checkout is an estimate beginning from dispatch, not from the date the order is placed. Delivery dates cannot be guaranteed because delays can occasionally occur within the postal or courier network.
If you need an order for a particular occasion, we recommend allowing additional time and ordering for an earlier dispatch wherever possible.
CAKE TOPPERS AND EDIBLE IMAGES
Available delivery options and charges for cake toppers and edible images will be displayed at checkout.
Personalised products require preparation time before dispatch. Any estimated delivery time applies after the product has been completed and dispatched.
Please check all names, ages, dates, spellings, images and other personalisation details carefully before placing your order.
CELEBRATION CAKES
Celebration cakes are normally collected at an agreed date and time unless local delivery has been arranged in advance.
Any delivery charge will be confirmed before the order is finalised. Customers must ensure that somebody is available to receive the cake at the agreed time.
WEDDING CAKES
Wedding-cake delivery and setup arrangements will be confirmed as part of your quotation or booking agreement.
Delivery charges may vary depending on the venue, distance, access, setup requirements and delivery time.
The customer is responsible for supplying accurate venue details and informing us about access restrictions, stairs, parking arrangements and the time by which setup must be completed.
CORPORATE ORDERS
Delivery or collection arrangements for corporate orders will be agreed as part of the quotation.
Charges may vary depending on the quantity, destination, delivery schedule and setup requirements. Orders requiring delivery to several addresses must be agreed in advance.
DELIVERY ADDRESSES
Customers are responsible for supplying a complete and accurate delivery address, including the correct postcode and any relevant access information.
Please check the address carefully before completing checkout. If you notice an error, contact us immediately at thelittleloafshed@gmail.com. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered production or been dispatched.
FAILED OR DELAYED DELIVERY
If tracking shows a delay, or your order has not arrived within the expected delivery window, please contact us at thelittleloafshed@gmail.com with your name and order number so we can investigate with the delivery provider.
If a delivery attempt fails because nobody is available, the customer may need to follow the carrier’s instructions to rearrange delivery or collect the parcel.
DAMAGED PARCELS
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If the parcel or its contents are damaged, contact us as soon as possible and provide clear photographs of:
• The outer delivery packaging
• The shipping label
• The internal packaging
• The damaged product
Please retain the product and packaging while we investigate the issue.
STORAGE
Brownies and other perishable products should be unpacked promptly and stored according to the instructions supplied with the order. Each individually wrapped brownie will display its applicable best-before information.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
We currently sell and deliver postal food products within the United Kingdom only unless otherwise agreed in writing.
